Summer Reading for Teens

An all-day event on Thursday, May 30 started the Teen Summer Reading Program started off with a bang!  Some exciting programs included:

  • Dungeons and Dragons 
  • Lego Club
  • Strategy Club
  • Movie afternoon and our 
  • Teen Summer Reading Finale:  two sessions of a Doctor Who Escape Room!

Teens read a total of 1,006 books and a total of 87 teens participated in the Summer Reading portion of the program.

Williamson County Public Library would like to thank all of our generous Summer Reading Sponsors from 2019! All of these  bright shining star Sponsors  were out of this world! They gave us physical prizes, food coupons, or even provided financial donations to help in sponsoring special  performers!

Williamson County Library Foundation, Chuck E Cheese, Culver's, Granite City Food & Brewery, La Paleteria, Pizza Hut, Poncho's Mexican, Sonic, Sweet Charlie's, Wendy's, CRAG Rock Climbing, Family Entertainment Center, Ingram Books, Learning Express Toys, Let it Shine Gymnastics, Scholastic Books,  and Soar Adventure Tower!

We are busy working already on plans for next year's Summer Reading 2020! The State Theme  "Imagine Your Story" is about Fairy-tales and Mythology!
