Dungeons & Dragons: 2:00-5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29. It’s back! Join the quest this summer, as the Teen Library presents "An Introduction to Dungeons & Dragons," the classic game of fantasy storytelling. Led by our own "Mr. Howard," all you need is your imagination!

Teen Summer Reading Kickoff: 9:00-5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30.  Drop-in anytime between 9-5:30 for snacks, crafts, games and info about our Teen Summer Reading Program!

JUNE 2019

Dungeons & Dragons: 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, June 5,12,19,26. The quest continues; join our own "Mr. Howard," as the Dungeon Master! All you need is your imagination! *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED*

 The First Satellite to Orbit the Earth: 2-4 p.m. Friday, June 7. First Satellite to Orbit Earth. 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing!  Dr. Billy Teets, from Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory will give us a crash course in all things about the moon! Event in the MEETING ROOM on the 1st floor.

Teen Lego Club: 3-4 p.m. Monday, June 10. Join us and take a journey back to your childhood as you come up with a theme and create with Legos! 

Teen Art Club:  3-4 p.m.  Friday, June 14.  Stop by and make some art and some new friends! Bring your materials or use our sketchbooks and colored pencils.

Teen Strategy Club: 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 15. Conquest is the game at our monthly Strategy Club. Join us for games of Risk, Stratego, Chess, and more!

Teen Board Game Afternoon: 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, June 17. Join us for an afternoon of board games including Uno, Yahtzee, Jenga and more! 

Teen Movie Afternoon: 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, June 25.  Get a relief from the summer heat and stop by the Teen Room for a viewing of the movie OCTOBER SKY, based on the book ROCKET BOYS.

Is There Life on Mars: 2-4 p.m. Friday, June 28. Is there Life on Mars? David Weintraub, author of Life on Mars, and Professor of Astronomy at Vanderbilt, tells the story of our relentless search for life on the red planet. Learn more about Mars, space, and NASA’s Mars 2020 Mars Mission. Event in the MEETING ROOM on the 1st floor.
