The Williamson County Public Library in Franklin offers weekly storytimes for families with children ages 0-5 years old. Attending storytimes can help local families grow their readers-to-be, provide socialization, enable children to learn about and practice manners in a warm setting, and provide a friendly introduction to the public library.
Our story times feature picture books, music, rhyme, and movement. Each is designed for a specific age group and they can level up into the next story time group as they grow into kindergarteners. Early literacy skills are practiced at each storytime so that children are always moving forward towards getting ready for kindergarten in addition to having fun with their family and others.
Visit our Children's Department webpage to learn more about storytimes and the Main Library or your local Branch's webpage for their storytime schedules.
