Nashville Public Television has partnered with AgeWell Middle Tennessee for our Aging Matters Digital Scam Prevention Workshop series for showings and training across Tennessee and they are coming to the Williamson County Public Library in Franklin on April 18!
During the workshop, participants will watch EXPOSING CYBER THREATS, from NPT’s Emmy-winning Aging Matters documentary. A presentation will follow the short screening by Paula Daigle of AgeWell Middle Tennessee. Daigle will help participants identify and learn how to prevent cyber scams for older adults on any digital device. Participants will be able to ask questions and receive printed materials for additional support. Workshops are available for free to all Middle Tennessee residents.
The workshop is free and open to the public. The event lasts from 1 - 2 p.m.
NPT’s Digital Scam Workshops are supported by a grant from the West End Home Foundation.
