[ARCHIVED] All About the Libby App

Meet Libby, image of girl with a blue bow with one eye hidden behind bangs, smiling with an open bk

The OverDrive app was retired in February of 2022.  The app for devices is no longer available nor supported with any security updates. It will officially be pulled in 2023 by the vendor that provides the platform for TN READS.

Everyone will have to download eBooks and eAudiobooks on their smart phones or tablets using the Libby app.  Why not start now?  She's actually quite nice and easy to get used to.   Bring your device and your library card with you for a free  hands-on demonstration of the setup and downloading process.  Registration is required so we can have handouts and seats for everyone.

All Library programs are free and open to the public. Call the Library at 615-595-1243 or email if you have questions or want to cancel a registration. Please note that classes with fewer than 2 registered to attend will be canceled.

Please note: If you have the Overdrive app currently, you can still use it but it is no longer be available in app stores and no longer supported by it's creators. It will be inevitable that new devices will be unable to run it or if you loose it, you will not be able to install it again.  Also as it is unsupported, there may be security risks.

This does not impact the TN READS website.
