  1. Adult Virtual Trivia Challenge - General Knowledge 2

    April 20, 2021, 1:00 PM - April 27, 2021, 1:00 PM @ Virtual Program

Our 5th WCPL Virtual Trivia game is General Trivia Knowledge, Part 2. Registration for the challenge is extended until 4/20. The self-paced Kahoot will be open for one week, starting 4/20 at 1 PM and ending on 4/27 at 1 PM. Once registration is over, we will send an email with a link to that specific game in Kahoot. You do not need to create an account in Kahoot, you just must open the link on a device (mobile, laptop, or desktop) with a web browser. You will have to use the same device to log in and out of the game. At the beginning of the game you set up a nickname in Kahoot. Try to use part of your name (three consecutive letters from your last name) so we are able to award our winners and frequent participants. Rules of the Game: Each question is multiple choice, only one of the four choices will be correct, and there are 30 seconds to answer each question. You must click "NEXT" to progress to the next question. Standings are in Kahoot and will be in follow up email.

  2. Virtual Alzheimer's & Dementia Series: Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia

    April 27, 2021, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM @ Virtual Program

This general overview of Alzheimer’s and dementia explores the relationship between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, examines what happens in a brain affected by Alzheimer’s, identifies FDA-approved treatments available for some symptoms, looks at what’s on the horizon for Alzheimer’s research, and offers helpful Alzheimer’s Association resources. The Williamson County Public Library and the Alzheimer’s Association Tennessee Chapter are happy to present this program ONLINE so everyone can safely participate at home on your smart phone, tablet or computer. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please contact Kelsey Williams at kewilliams@alz.org or 615-622-4182 with any questions! You can share questions you’d like our presenters to address during the presentation by typing them in the Questions & Comments box when you register.
