Empower your life by learning a simple meditation technique that can be used daily for greater peace, energy, and well-being. Start incorporating this positive technique into your life. Join Zelma Chamberlain, M. Ed and long-time meditator, who has been inspiring audiences with her engaging workshops. We are happy to present this program ONLINE so everyone can safely participate at home on your smart phone, tablet or computer. When you register for an online program, please include a valid email address. We will email login details the day before the event, so please be sure to check the “send email reminder” option when you register. This program is free and open to anyone who would like to participate.

    Celebrating Take Action for Libraries Day A partnership with the American Library Association, United for Libraries, and Booklist Thurs., April 8, 2021 6:30 p.m. Central Join venerated journalist Dan Rather in a live conversation with Booklist’s Donna Seaman about “What Unites Us: Reflections on Patriotism.” This collection of original essays, co-authored by Elliot Kirschner, examines the freedoms that define Americans, the values that renew us, and the institutions that sustain us. Rather will reflect on the role of libraries as one of these sustaining institutions and share what we can do to secure their future.   1. April Take & Make

    April 8, 2021, All Day @ Teen Room

    Teen take & makes are back with some sweet treats, candy sushi! Register using the link to the right or stop by the teen room to pick one up while they last. Included in each kit: - Rice Krispie treats - Swedish Fish - Fruit by the Foot All food items are individually wrapped. Kit pickup for Holds2Go begins April 9th. Kits must be picked up by April 23rd. Unclaimed kits will be put out for everyone to take on the 24th. When picking up through Holds2Go please let staff know you are picking up a teen take & make kit.
