  1. Adult Virtual Trivia Registration - Animals

    July 8, 2021, 8:00 AM - July 19, 2021, 5:00 PM

    The theme for our 8th WCPL Virtual Trivia game is Animal Trivia. The topic can include animal general knowledge, animals in entertainment, and animals as cultural icons. Registration for the challenge will start July 8 and remain open until the game begins on July 20, 2021. The self-paced Kahoot trivia game will be open for ten days, ending on July 30 at 1 PM. Once registration is over, on July 20, we will send an email with a link to your specific game in Kahoot. As Kahoot limits a single game link to 10 players, we can send the same Kahoot game, with a different link, to each set of 10 players. This will allow for more registration and less waitlisted players. You do not need to create an account in Kahoot, you just open the link on a device (mobile, laptop, or desktop) with a web browser. You will have to use the same device to log in and out of the game. Are you up to the challenge?

  2. Virtual Garden Talk Series: Managing Fire Ants

    Fire ants in your yard aren’t just a nuisance, they can be downright dangerous. Our Extension Agent, Taylor Reeder, will discuss how to safely manage them while adhering to sound environmental practices. The Williamson County Public Library and the Williamson County Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau are happy to present this program ONLINE so everyone can safely participate at home on your smart phone, tablet or computer. When you register for an online program, please include a valid email address. We will email login details the day before each event, so please be sure to check the “send email reminder” option when you register.
