Chronicles of Yarnia: Adult's Knit and Crochet Group2023-02-07T17:00:00Join this group to meet new friends sharing the same interest in creating handmade items. We invite all skill levels to bring your WIP (works in progress), spend time working on them, asking for advice, swapping yarn, trading patterns and ideas.
This is a great place to share what you know and to learn from others. There are times when having someone show you a technique in person is a lot easier than figuring it out on your own with online videos!
This program will meet on the first Tuesday of the month.

Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group2023-02-10T10:00:00Caring for a person with dementia requires different techniques than those needed to care for someone who is not cognitively impaired. Alzheimer’s Association support groups encourage attendees to share information, give and receive mutual support and exchange coping skills. Attendees can offer practical suggestions based on their own experiences that may make caregiving easier. Sharing those ideas in a support group can prevent caregivers from “reinventing the wheel.”
Our Caregivers Support Group is free and facilitated by a trained Alzheimer’s Association volunteer. We meet at 10 a.m. the 2nd Friday every month in the Learning Center on the 2nd floor. Registration not required.
For more information, contact Seth Zamek at (803) 517-9489 or the Library at (615) 595-1243.
The views expressed in this program are of those of the presenters and do not necessarily reflect the official policy, position, or opinions of the Williamson County Public Library.
